In the world extreme paradoxes exist.  I truly believe that we have to know the extremes to be able to appreciate what we have.

To know the bitter pill of loss, is the only way we can know the sweetness of a hard won victory.  Life is not a smooth and placid experience.  Life should be raucous, wild, solemn, heartwrenching, quiet and joyful.

I firmly believe that we are put on this earth to experience life to its fullest. When the day comes that we meet our Maker, and are asked how we lived.

I hope to be able to say, “I lived with my entire heart.”

About Leila

I hail from the East and view the world as my playground. I'm opinionated. My dog is my co-pilot, but my cat navigates better. I'm only limited by my imagination. While there are terrible things that happen in the world I am responsible for making good things happen where I live, and that affects the world at large making it a better place.
