Morning Madness

Mr. Quizz is not happy with me these days.  His entire schedule is topsy turvy.  Grandma is visiting the niece and nephew in a far off land called Michigan and didn’t take the cat.

Every morning I start our morning of right, by going on our morning walk and sniff, but at 7:05am I kick him out the back door to spend the day with his girl friend Maddie.  You see, Quizz likes to relax in the morning. Follow the Grandma around and assist her any way he can.  Perhaps take a nap in his kennel.  Then, he’ll head out to see what he can liberate from Maddie.

But no, I’ve messed his routine up.  Out the door he goes with a kiss and a scritch.  The last couple of mornings it’s been down right chilly. This morning he staged a rebellion.  He holed up in his kennel.  Not even chicken jerky would lure him out.  Thank goodness his kennel has multiple doors, so I could push him out, lead him down the stairs and out the back door.

No, Mr. Quizz is not happy with me.  Sigh.
