The essence of the Thanksgiving Holiday isn’t about food or left overs. It’s not about ball games or shopping.

Thanksgiving is about gratitude. Coming together with family and friends to celebrate each other and give thanks for the blessings received during the year. Some years the blessings are basic – a job, a spouse, having survived something that fundamentally life changing. Other years allow you to be more expansive in the things you are grateful for.
I am grateful for the following:
- My family
- My Quizz and the Charlie
- My friends
- I’m maintaining my health
- My talents
Can I control what may happen tomorrow? No. But I can express my gratitude for what I have in the NOW.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
